Though the suites aren't the largest available at sea (that designation would go to Norwegian Cruise Line's Garden Villas at 5,200 sq. ft.), the top suites on Silver Shadow are large enough to be comfortable, even luxurious. Butler service offers such amenities as in-suite afternoon high tea or dinner, or helping you host an evening cocktail party at no additional expense -- touches you find on few other ships.

Certainly, if you're not a typical suite passenger, you'll find both the "ship within a ship" concept and the luxury ship suites to be overpriced for your needs and budget (though either would make you wish for the day you could book them).
