Royal Caribbean One-Day SALE!
Royal Caribbean is offering a one-day WOW sale today, May 13. Your deposit is reduced by half, and you will receive up to $200 in onboard credits to use at the spa, casino, shore tours or anything you want. That's like cash in your hand.
The sale is on for any cruise that sails after September 1, 2008 on through to April 30, 2010. You must make your reservation and pay your deposit by the end of the day today. This is for new bookings only, and you can't cancel an existing reservation and rebook - sorry! It also does not apply to any group bookings or other offers. It also is not applicable to "cruisetours" (which are cruises plus land tours).
Just to see what is possible, we looked up Freedom of the Seas, one of Royal Caribbean's most popular ships. The biggest cruise ship in the world at 160,000-tons, this is the ship with the Flo-rider surfing machine onboard plus a full kids' waterpark. It has an expanded Royal Promenade with a Seattle's Best coffee house and Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
The first bargain in the listings to the left, from America's Vacation Center, shows the Freedom of the Seas' September 7, 2008 cruise. Today only the price is $699 per person, plus you get $200 onboard credit per stateroom and a free onboard coupon book. That offer ends today, and you must make your deposit, but the deposit is 1/2 the usual amount.
Cruise Value Center is also honoring this sale with the same bonuses plus and they offer free travel insurance or prepaid gratuities (for higher cabin categories). Keep in mind that this agency will charge you a fee to change your reservation, so be sure you know exactly what you want before you book it. You have the rest of the day - so start shopping!
