I agree with Katlady, midship is good.

Hurricane season can become a big player in when you plan to go to the Carribean. Although the ship will navigate around a storm, getting away from the waves it produces can be more difficult.

Try a midship cabin on a 'bigger' ship with stabilizers, and do invest in some sea sick medication. Some cruiselines offer those med's free at purser's desk.
