Maisie is doing well. Seems to have adjusted to new home. She demands a lot of attention though.
Don C called yesterday, wants me to prep everything b4 they arrive (for his projects). He doesn't know how much is already on my to do list. I still haven't graded the road. We have some other cruise friends arriving tomorrow with two kids so I'm not digging any holes down there. I've had plumber for 3 hours and Pepino working down at the cabin for two days. It will look good--that's all the prep it's getting! The Spanish Oaks are budding, the Live Oaks are starting dropping their leaves. It's the transitional month for trees here. For you non Texans, our state tree, the Texas Live Oak, doesn't drop it's leaves in the fall like all those Yankee trees. It drops them in the spring as the NEW leaf comes out. So they stay green almost year round. There are two really nice trees in front of the cabin, one is the largest on my place.
Of course, I'd rather be cruising.
