It's my opinion that, the lost baggage, and, trip interruption portion is secondary to the medical & medevac portion of the policy. Driving to the port only makes the former, a moot point.
If you have an injury, or a health issue,and need to disembark the ship as we had to, to get medical help. you will thank your luck stars you are protected.
