Anything less than 7 days and it feels too rushed to me. Not long enough to decompress. Most I go on are a week, and that is good. My one 14 day cruise was good, but hard to get that much time away at once since we both still work. Rather take 2 one weekers spread out some than a 2 weeker anyway. I think 10 would be a good length, but have yet to try one.
There is no doubt that the best cruises for Parrot Pop and I were the 13-14 day cruises.. We took a 7 day last May and realized we were spoiled by the longer cruises and the glorious days at sea if we realized how spoiled we were should have added another 7 day on (back to back)
We have done 1 5 day cruise (Too short) 3 seven day cruises, 1 eight day cruise and 1 ten day cruise.
For us we really enjoyed the 10 day cruise and the ports visited. 7 day cruises are fine and the minimum that we will take, after all, it takes 3 days to figure out where everything is on a ship.

The longer, the better. We've done 3 14 nighters, a twelve, and the rest were 10 or 11. Oh, and one 3 nighter for DH birthday but that was hardly a cruise. More like very long floating party We're spoiled-wouldn't bother packing for 7 nights. But that's because we're fortunate enough to be retired.

Agree, the longer, the better! We've been on several 7 day cruises, but since our first B2B 14 day cruise, we're spoiled !
Being in the middle of the country we have to fly to get to the port and, with the price of airfare, it's just not reasonable for us to cruise for less than 2 weeks.
We're planning a 28 day next fall. If DH (of 30 years) and I survive being together that long, the sky (oh, and the bank account) is the limit!
Being retired helps a lot, too !

14 nights has always been our preferred length. Now, that I am at the 24th night of a 25 night cruise; I would say my favorite length is 25 nights. My next three booked cruises are 15, 17, and 17 nights; I am sure they will all be wonderful. Still, I can't wait until I can book a longer cruise in the future.

I have only been on 7 night and 12 night cruise. I liked the 12 night; because we were having so much fun, that when the 7 nights were up; we still had 5 more to go.

Doesn't it feel great to sit back on the 6th night and say "I don't have to get off the ship tomorrow!!" ?

I started with a 4 night then two 5 night cruises, next is a six night cruise. I'm slowly making my way up. I don’t know if I would like more than a 7 night cruise unless I was doing a Mediterranean cruise.

We have not met our limit. Have done 28 days and most others 2 weeks or longer. It is nice looking from our balcony (knowing we can stay for another week) and watching people lugging their things at the end of the 1st half of a B2B.

We've done over 125 cruises total, but NEVER done a really long one. Probably the ideal cruise for me is 14 days. Less than 7 is difficult, unless I was able to book a "Pack-n-Go" and had no anticipation of the cruise, so that makes a 4 or 5 day cruise "special". Obviously, most of our cruises have been seven days, so that's pretty much what we expect. I have yet to find a cruise that made me wish it'd end!
Right now, mine is a 7 day cruise, starting with one night pre-cruise if time allows it. I hope to someday do a 10 day cruise and see how I like that, may-be a Panama canal cruise at some point. With work schedules, etc...makes it difficult to be gone more than a week at a time.
The longer the better:-D We once did a 3 night Bahama cruise for DH's 75th.birthday but other then that it's always been 10,11,12 or 14 nights. I would love to try a 30 day
