Default Switching rooms

We are going on a Carnival cruise later this year and have booked two rooms. How difficult would it be to change which person is in each room after we have booked and paid for the cruise? We just want to rearrange the room assignments. We got a better deal booking the way we did but this is not how we want to spend the cruise. Should we try to take care of this at the dock or just wait til we get onboard and go to the pursers office? Any problems doing this?

You should be able to just switch the cabins once you are on board. Just make sure you get your sign/sail cards to work with the correct credit cards when going through embarking.

In order to make the changes, it must be done at the pursers desk "onboard", not when you "check in" at the "pier". Simply bring all passengers that are changing to the Pursers Desk (after boarding the ship) along with S & S cards and c.cards to make the changes. This is not an uncommon practice at all by folks in order to save $ when booking or to meet the requirements of passengers under 21 years of age at time of booking.

Have a great cruise.
