New Liquor regulations for Texans

For those sailing through the port of Galveston and wishing to bring back liquor we finally have some relief from that ONE bottle rule. The Legislature has raised the import limit from one bottle per person to one gallon per person.

I see more rum cakes in my future!

one gallon!! Oh WOW!! That's awesome!! I have so many people wanting me to bring them back a bottle of something. Now I can bring more. Yeah!!

How long for the CBP to get the word or the ships debark paperwork to reflect it?

I think the ships paperwork still says one bottle, but the regs have been in effect since 9/1/11.

The Feds never really cared, it's a State deal.

I posted the new regs on my blog this morning.
