My brother and I are going to be cruising out of Miami early next year. We are going to be staying in South Beach for a couple of days before the cruise. I was seeing that we can get a better price on air fare if we fly into Fort Lauderdale.
My question is has anyone used one of the shuttle companies who offer shuttles from Ft Lauderdale to Miami? If so what is the best one to use?

Easiest is Supershuttle, just get your bags and head to one of their stands no reservation needed. Last trip I was immediately put in a town car and left, no waiting to share or anything. I believe it was $23 but you can check and see if prices are the same on the web.

Date, ship, cost pp
I think Super Shuttle cost us $32/pp Miami to Ft. Lauderdale.
Looking at the map it seems you could take the light rail system from FLL to Miami but you would still have to take a cab to South Beach. Can any South Floridians weigh in on the light rail system?

I am going to be staying in South Beach and Supershuttle says they do not go there.
