Default How to Protect Yourself Against Travel Scams

Interesting article. Some of it is obvious, but good information to review;

the only thing i dont gwt from this article is: the security at Bangkok airport must have stolen the money from the belt. i have never seen thiefs at the security checkpoing and xray machine.

Whenever we travel, we put everything important in my backpack. Nancy goes through security first and I wait until she's on the other side. Then I put the backpack on the conveyor belt and wait there until it's gone all the way through and she has it in her hands. Once that's done and only until she has it, do I go through the scanner. I don't care what anybody is ordering me to do or wants me to do, that's the way we do it. We've done it the same way all over the world and never had any problems.

If you follow this simple example, you avoid the problems with anyone else getting ahold of your valuables.
