Default your experience working on a ship (cruise doctor)

Am going for an interview shortly for the position of Ships Doctor

Am interested to speak to anyone who has worked as medical crew onboard a cruise liner

Would also be interested to speak to you if you have worked previously on a cruise ship about your experience

kind regards

Dan

Hi, Dan ...

I've never worked as a ship's doc but I've met a number of them over the years. Happily, all the meetings except one were social.

No doubt Paul Motter will be by soon with his unique insights about working on a cruise ship. (He doctored electronics.)

In the meantime, cruise over to my website <http://happysails.com> , click on Sea Cloud under the "ships" title, and scroll through the story to part three to see Sabine, the ship's doc, rocking. Go a little further to see her hard at work and a photo of what may be the world's smallest sick bay.

Good luck on your interview !!!

I worked on a ship, but not in the medical area. Though I did have to sleep in the infirmary on Statndam for 10 days once when they ran out of cabins. You can email me if you'd like to ask me questions.
