I want to be able to listen to cds on my cruise when i'm getting ready to go out. Is there a way to hook them up in the cabins so you can hear the music? I know I read a post b4 about it but I can't find the post now. Any suggestions would be helpful only
i took a portable cd player and had no problem. i listened to my music on the plane and on the ship all i wanted. take your music and have a great time. just remember to take plenty of new batteries.
Also take along headphones if you are in the public areas as not everyone likes the same music. Be a good cruisemate and respect others. IN the cabin no problem but keep it down a bit.

What I was asking was if there was a way to plug it into the room speakers system so that my husband and myself can hear the music too. I have the head phones but need a way to hook it up so I can hear it without the headphones.
They do not have radios in the cabins. Remember you are out at sea! They do play music on the TV that picks up satellite. Yes you can bring your own radio but a CD player or tape is much more sensible. Just remember to keep it down in your cabin and only use headphones while out on the decks or in publis areas.

Re: portable cd players?
You can bring a radio if you want, but unless you have a balcony or outside cabin, you might not get any reception at all.....even near the ports. I doubt when out to sea you will pick up any signals.

I am taking my portable CD player and I bought small speakers to go with it at the Drug store they were only 15.00 and do the trick. That way my cousin and I can listen to our own CD's while we are relaxing on the Balcony and when we are getting ready for Dinner. THEY ARE GREAT.....
