More Megans bay questions

I am doing the snorkel with Carnival to St.John in the morning. 4 hours, we are docked from 7am-6pm will I still have time to go back to the ship for lunch then take a taxi to Megan's bay? How much does a taxi cost each way? Is there shopping within walking distance to the beach?

There really isn't much by the beach, at least walking distance. The taxi's always take you through downtown and drop the shoppers off. There is still decent shopping by the pier and you can walk back to the ship from there.

I know there is shopping by the pier so I will shop there if there is time, but will I have time after my excursion to go to Megans bay also? Do anyone know how long it takes to get there and what the cab fare costs?
