My husband & I are seriously thinking about booking New Zealand cruise Dec 2008 on Celebrity Millenium.
Cruised the South Pacific on Pacific Princess Jan 2007 & on Sun Princess this year.
Would love to hear about this ship - my only reservations being the weather in New Zealand this time of year.

Sorry I missed your post Aquabella.
I am also jealous of your choice of cruise ship.
December is the beginning of summer so is not hot so to speak as the snow fields only close in November.
The further up the country you go the warmer it will be.
Thanks for your reply. After speaking to a few people we have decided to forget New Zealand cruise as it will be too cold at sea.
Hoping to get a cheap deal on the Millenium repositioning cruise in April going from Auckland to Honolulu.
OR
Go sailing around the South Pacific which we love. Have to forgo the Millenium if so - which is a disappointment.
Will keep searching until the right ship/destination and price comes up.
As New Zealand has mild temperatures, You should be prepare for any changes in the weather of New Zealand, and should have all the necessary arrangements. The weather can change unexpectedly , as cold fronts or tropical cyclones quickly blow in.
