Alcohol and San Juan Port

I sailed on the Carnival Victory out of San Juan in June of 09, and were able to bring alcohol on in our carry-on's whatever we wanted. We are sailing on the Victory out of San Juan again in March. Im just wondering if this rule has changed, has anyone sailed out of PR recently and brought alcohol on? Thanks!
