Default Dickinson Bay Antigua

We are looking to go to the beach in Antigua. I would like to know if I should book an excursion from the cruise line or if it's just as easy to do it yourself and take a taxi. Is there a place to change clothes, restrooms, food etc...or do the resorts control the beach and you have to pay them?

We just contact one of the all-inclusive resorts and purchase a one-day pass. You get all the food you can eat, all the alcohol you can drink, and all the water activities are included as well as changing and shower facilities. Makes for a wonderful day at a beautiful beach with no hassles and usually cheaper than doing a shore excursion for a couple of hours.

I thought of that and contacted Sandals and they want $150.00 per person for an all day pass and I'm not willing to spend that much for four people. If there is a cheaper resort I'd be willing to consider it.

Boy, prices have really gone up! We were there a couple of years ago and it was $75 per person. Might want to see if you can contact the resort itself and see what they say. But I'm really surprised by that.
