My husband and I are going on our first cruise in march. He is a big history buff and would love to see the mayan ruins. Our cruise stops in honduras, belize, costa maya, and cozmel. Which post would be best to see the ruins from they are offered in belize, costa maya, and cozmel. I am thinking about doing this excursion through the cruise ship to make sure we are back on time. Thanks
I have to agree with you, booking a ruins excursion through the cruiseline is a good idea. It is a full day and some travel included, so to be safe, that would be the way to go.
Congrats on your first cruise, bet it won't be the last. Have a ball.

From Honduras, we took a ship's excursion to Tikal in Guatemala; absolutely fantastic. It is a short flight to central Guatemala and then a full day touring the ruins; strongly recommend it.
