Default Port Canaveral - Pride - How close is parking to load this s

I had read somewhere on a message board that the 7 day cruises park quiet aways from where they were to board. Any truth to this? Any information that you can give would be appreciated.

The parking lot is right at the terminal. You can drive up to the baggage drop-off, unload your stuff, then drive into the parking lot. You pay upfront for parking, which is $8/day. Luggage tip is usually $1/piece of luggage. Just a side note: On the outside of one of my bags is a stretch net type compartment for storing stuff you want to get at easily without opening zippers in which I had some sandals and books. Those things did not make it to my cabin.

Happy sailing,

The Fantasy and the Pride use the same terminal. The closer parking lot is used by the Fantasy cruisers. The terminal has added a 2nd parking lot, which is a little further out from the terminal, and that's the one that is used by the Pride cruisers. As the first poster stated, you can drop off your luggage and then go park, but if there is any elderly people or people who have trouble walking around traveling in your group, you'd better drop them off at the terminal before you go park.

Fantasy ~ 1/03
Pride ~ 1/02
Fantasy ~ 4/00
Sensation ~ 4/99
Oceanic ~ 3/98
Atlantic ~ 3/95

It is quite a distance(ok,I am lazy) so drop off your luggage and go park. When you return,be sure to look for assistance to roll your luggage to the parking lot. Quite a stretch,so I tipped $2.00 per bag.
