Tampa hotels w/ free parking?

Anyone know of any hotels in tampa that allow you to park in their lot during your cruise?

I read on the board that Howard Johnsons did and that they also provided a free shuttle. Almost sounds to good to be true. If you check this out, let us know...Im crusin out of Tampa in July.

Ho Jo definately offers this service, but I don't know how nice the hotel is. Their web site says yu can use their lot for up to 2 weeks, and they will even take you to the terminal. Pretty good deal I think.

My problem is I either need a suite with 3 beds or 2 rooms. Taking our teenage kids, one boy and 1 girl. Need seperate sleeping arrangements.

I also saw Embassy Suites has a deal that you can stay there and use long term parking for $89 per night. I am going to check this out further.

I'll let you know if more hotels come up.

Howard Johnsons does have free parking. The place is ok to. They have a shuttle there and back. It is also free. There is room for limited numbers of cars. I think 16. Not a problem.
