Has anyone had one of the catagory 5 A cabins with French doors? If so when did you cruise? What ship? And did your doors open? Also did you have any view of the water, or just a big old lifeboat in front of your window?
My TA called Carnival and couldn't get an answer about if the doors open or the rep said the policy on keeping the doors locked or open changes all the time.
Sailed Carnival Miracle 10-30-05 and had French Doors in cabin 4131. The doors did open and if you sat on the bed you had a view of the sea looking down and the sky when looking up. And yes the life boat was right in front and blocked straight ahead viewing. We booked a 4a gty and was upgraded to this cabin so we were happy.
