First Formal Nite ?

Sailin on the Valor (8/27 eastern), would like to know on which day is the first formal nite.

I was told by our carnival planner its the 2nd and 5th night

Not necessarily..... All 3 previous cruises I have been on had formal nights on port days. This includes the following:

Fascination - 2nd day (Key West)
Triumph - 5th day (Grand Cayman)
Sensation - 2nd day (Nassau)

In addition, on my upcoming cruise on the Glory, I have been advised that the first formal night is the 2nd day. Again, I will have been in Nassau that day.

I agree we are on the Valor Sept 3 and our nights are the 2 and 5th.
OUr second night weare at asea but our 5th we are at port.
