Default What is the policy on bring soda and/or water on board?

Went on our first cruise in June and we noted many people that has 12 packs of soda and even cases of water. What is Carnivals policy on bring soda and water on board with out "smuggling" it in.

Speaking of "smuggling" we did managed to bring some of our own adult beverages and didn't have any problem. Our room guy even found it one night and put the bottle on ice for us.

This time would like to bring sode to make our own drinks. Wondering if anyone has done this before.

Any feedback would be greatly appreicated.

Thanks!

Bring all you want. But keep it to less than a truckload full.

I don't understand folks carting water onboard. The ships water is better than most bottled water. In fact most bottled water is plain old tap water.

I think the policy now is: one bottle of wine per person, and a "reasonable" amount of soda, or water. What's reasonable???? I guess it depends on the mood of the people at the port at time of embarkation.

We have always brought a 12 pack of soda and a 12 pack of water, and those were for 5 day cruises and we had some left over. Our next cruise is a 7 day but we are still bringing the above amount.

A case should not get any attention.
