Cruising Freedom in January and Booked an Upper Deck balcony (Deck 6) I have heard stories of noise coming from the Public Decks below (Deck 5). our Cabin is above the gift shops so i think we might be safe.
Any insights so my wife will come down off the ledge !!! Thanks,

You should be good above the shops. I wouldn't book deck 6 above the forward of aft lounges though. Notice that there are a lot of suites on deck 6, I think you will be fine.
