Question Seattle Hotel

The only thread I could find on this was about 9 years ago so I'd like more current info.

We are taking a cruise to Alaska in August. I've been searching for a reasonable hotel that would have a shuttle from the airport and easy access to the Carnival cruise port. It's all so ambiguous when you look them up on the web. So would love to hear from someone who has had recent, personal experience would be great.

I don't think any of the hotels have shuttles to the port so would like info on whether there are shuttle services or should we take a taxi or Uber? and cost.

I live an hour outside of Seattle and used to live and grew up in Seattle. Please feel free to ask me any questions about Seattle. As far as specific hotels to stay in as long as it's in the downtown area and has decent review's it's probably going to be nice. Transportation in Seattle is simple even if the hotel doesn't have a shuttle. There are taxis, uber, and lyft all over the city. The port is the main waterfront in downtown Seattle besides construction it's very easily accessible and tons to do down there. The port is not off on it's own like some ports at some destinations are. Hope that helps
