Capri pants in another lifetime used to be called pedal pushers or clam diggers Nice ones certainly would be considered smart casual...

Even at this age I know what they are and I've worn them.. but I want to know what 'DRESSY" ones are considered...the material, a print..non-denim.. I do have two Sag Harbor that are embroidered..are they considered "dressy"?

They sound like they would be fine...I don't consider any of them dressy, just, right for a smart casual dress code...prints like Lilly, or the like, a dark denim wash.. really how you dress them up is what makes them work inmho

i would think any type of women's capri you could wear for business is considered smart casual. if you go to Reitman's site, look under capri's and then look under career capri's.

those are the types i buy for work and what i will be bring on board.

i usually also pair it with a nice top/blouse.

oh... and the one's from reitman's are SOOOO comfortable! waist band is wide and stretchy.

more giving room for a full tummy.
