Smile Onboard booked Shore Excursions

Hi,

My name is Silje and I am a MTour Tourism and Events Student at University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Swansea, United Kingdom. I'm currently undergoing a consultancy module where I am assessing the guest perceived value on onboard booked Shore Excursions. The link to my questionnaire is submitted below, and I hope you can take 10 minutes to answer it. It would help me with my primary data for this project! Thank you in advance. More information is in the questionnaire, like my contact details if you have any queries.

Default Good News on Shore Excursions, Dinner reservations

Celebrity is now allowing passengers to use Celebrity on board credit to be used to book shore excursions and dinner reservations PRIOR to boarding the ship. This is absolutely new as you had to use a credit card to book these things. If you go to your MY Celebrity account and check under the shore excursion, dinner res. section of a booked cruise a pop up will appear showing how much you have available. I did it on my next cruise and it showed right up.

Two important things to remember. It will not allow you to do this for OBC given to you by a Travel Agent. Also, not sure how it works with non US resident cruisers including Canadians.
