Yes, thank you Paul. See, Thomas, together we can make a difference. <inspiring music>
For everyone who liked the new way, you will notice that this is the only forum that has been changed back to how it was. All the other forums bump threads with new posts up to the top. I think it's a good compromise.
Cheers,

Thank you so much Paul. I really like it this way.
As for missing old threads-I always look down the topic page and look for the red news so I can see what is added. Since you made that page longer a while back, it's easier to not miss things that have been posted in recent dates.
We aims to please. I have to admit I didn't even know "float new posts to top" was an option I had for the message order. I makes sense for forums that get fewer messages but not in a board that is this active.

Paul, it makes a lot of sense for boards that are this active. I don't always get to the boards six times a day like Michelle. Therefore, I am occassionally posting to a post that has gotten quite old and might even have fallen off the front page. Often no one reads the post since they don't look that far down the list (I know since there are a number of posts where my post is the last in the thread).
With the boards without much traffic, there is no problem since posts stay on the front page forever...you can see two years of posts on the Radisson board, for example.
just my three cents canadian,

No offense meant. Right now, I have no e-mail or internet access during the day and I am going thru withdrawal pains (its also difficult working all day and then having to go back to my room at night to work e-mail).
No problem, Marc, guess you touched a nerve. I know how it is when travelling on business and being unable to use the internet until evening... and then having so much to catch up on.
Cheers,

Michelle, the amount of posts by you and Thomas the second the boards changed does say something for usage. Messages by you are everywhere; you are very active all the time. No slam, observation.
And it's also right that those who are here constantly should be listened to. I only check every couple of days or so except for now, when I'm on single digit count-down. <g>
I hate, absolutely hate, TOTALLY HATE the non-bumped boards. I do, however, really really really REALLY like the people who post here or I would have left long ago.
Not like anyone will read this, it's gone down a ways. hehe

I read it Denise. Yeah, I realize I'm here posting often, but I guess I read a tone into Marc's statement that he didn't intend. I don't want it to sound like I spend all day goofing off. Only some of the day.
Cheers,
Michelle B.

Don't worry Michelle, I, for one, enjoy seeing all your posts!
Sometimes I have very slow days and post ALOT, and other days, I never have time to post.
