Default Help! 2 week cruise advise

I'm going on my first cruise over Christmas and New Years. Were going on the Explorer of the seas. Western carribean first week Eastern Carribean the second week. Any advise on how much to pack and what to pack? What is the dress like day and night? How many bathing suits would you take? I feel completely over whelmed and lost. Thanks for any help

I'd take two swim suits so there'd always be a dry one to wear.

When deciding what to bring, think mix and match so that all the tops you bring go with all the bottoms you bring. There's nothing wrong with wearing something twice.

I'd bring 2 swimsuits and I'd plan to wear the same formal stuff the 2nd cruise as the first! There will be 2 formal nights on a 7 might cruise and remember the other nights are not dressy.

Nice but not dressy, previous poster has the right idea! I always bring beige slacks and different tops to go with them. I have a 2 pc. outfit that is of a krinkle material, which is great. If you have something like a casual dress, skirts and tops work.

Just think of things that are easy for dinner, wear them and put them pack in the suitcase neatly!!! This way you can plan for the first week and just wear them the second week, unless you spill :-) will save lots of clothes! Hope this makes sense!

WoW ! What a vacation to look forward to. Congrats to you on to be able to do this.
The guys have pretty well covered it. But... If you do get in a bind for some clean clothes, most of the new ships have self service laundry mats on board . We only use them if we have to. After-all, your on vacation, who wants to wash clothes? LoL !

Hope you have a great cruise and a wonderful vacation;
David

about the only clothes that you couldn't get more than one wearing out of would be undies and socks, packing 2 weeks worth of undies & socks is a lot of clothing. If you can, between cruises, try to hit a laundromat in port or use the ones on the ship.
