Wasn't this story out last year about him deciding to sue? This must be the results.

I 'reckon anything's possible but I have not been able to find where a deck on a passenger deck been so hot (unless of course it was on fire) as a person's feet actually sticking to the deck.

Common sense dictates that if the incident occurred as claimed, it would have had to have happened previously not to mention it certainly would have occurred to anyone else around this individual who got out of a lounger in the same area.

Burned feet? Possibly. Stuck to the deck? Patently absurd.

most cruisers have flip flops or sandals that you wear on deck..of course there is more to this story... or if his feet got stuck and were burning he would be yelling like hell and there would be tons of witnesses and pictures from cell phone cameras with prompt medical attention

I think we all know this stinks-- A deck so hot his feet were seared to it ?? Gimme a break! Wonder why others didn't have fried feet!
Some folks could walk up and hug a hot stove and then try to sue someone over it !! He sounds like one of those !

The only thing I can think of is that this man had diabetes and didn't feel his feet getting hot. However, it is then upon HIM to make sure he has the proper footwear to protect his feet. I do not believe for one minute that his feet were stuck to the floor........where were the witnesses to his screaming when he tried to lift them off said floor? I am glad his claim was denied.....and hopefully his new lawyers will get shot down too.

Any material that is exposed for long periods of sunlight gets hot.........we as people need to use common sense to protect ourselves!

This is why ladders cost ten times what they did in 1970 and have multiple stickers on them warning about gravity and such. And it's why the Department of Agriculture has to print a brochure telling you that fresh cow poop is slick. Darwin is turning over in his grave.
As Dave Barry once wrote: "What kind of idiot would have to be told something like that? A rich idiot."
