I had pre-ordered it to Brenda, so I need to check my Kindle.
I just ordered the new book by Johnny Cash's ex wife. It's called "I walked the Line with Johnny" He wrote many songs about her, and always stayed in touch with her, as his first love. It should be good.
The book starts off real good, as always. I ordered it twice accidentally, one for the kinlde and through the book club...that one will be exchanged. Guess I wanted the book, very badly

Anybody read Lee Child's books? I think I read one, but I can't remember. A new one is available now, but I've got several others available that I pre-ordered, and they will show up on Tuesday. Looks like some good winter reading is in store!
It took some looking but I finally found this page!
I've been reading the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I'm currently on Small Favor.
Judy, Rita Mae Brown has a new Sister Jane book coming out in a few days...just in case you don't know. I love Sister. I just hope Rita Mae keeps the political crap to a minimum.
Welcome home..did you read on your cruise? If you use the search function right above, and put in kindle, it will bring it up..that's how I always find this forum

Should post on goodreads so everyone can see it. I always post my reads on Facebook and good reads when finished. Mgoodreads is great because it helps me not to forget the books I have read. Lol
I have a Nook Color Tablet... I have read all but the last Lee Child books. I like Preston and Child (Pendergast series) books as well as thier non series books. I'm also a fan of Cussler, Rollins, Coulter as well as Kellerman and Connely.
Judy, you like paranormal fantasy, so have you ever read Deborah Harkness? One of her books won paranormal fantasy book of the year at Goodreads but I've never heard of her. Kim Harrison and Patricia Briggs came in at three and four and Laurell Hamilton and Charlaine Harris came in at eleven and fourteen, I think. It made me mad the LK came in in front of Charlaine since Laurell's Anita Blake series has gone totally to hell the past few books. She needs to just hang it up. Charlaine, on the other hand, is still going strong with the True Blood series even though she's about to wrap up it with one last book.
I've just read the entire Dresden Files and am reading a book of short stories as a side to the series called Side Jobs by Jim Butcher. I love my paranormal Fantasy.
I'm still getting used to the differences in getting around vs the 7" fire. I have to say, it's very nice, and even has the pinch factor, the Ipad has. I honestly thought once I got this one,I would sell my smaller one, now, I'm npot sure I will..Portability, is easier with my small one..

Moraine, I haven't read any paranormal books for a while, but I have one coming early January by Krantz called Dream Eyes.
Trip, I didn't really care for Carolina Rain. Thought it was poorly written. I ordered Stuart Woods' new book, Collateral Damage coming in early January.
Also have Laura Childs new one, Sweet Tea Revenge in March. Can't wait to get Anne Perry's new book Midnight at Marble Arch in April.
Nice to see this thread up again. Haven't seen it for a while.
