Default Concordia memorabelia

I was reading the May 2012 issue of Popular Mechanics story about the sinking of the Concordia. There was a picture showing a piece of the reef sticking out of the hull of the ship. It apparently had broken off the reef and lodged itself in the ship. I was wondering as I looked at that picture, would people pay for a piece of that reef as a memento of the wreck? Personally, I wouldn't although for years I kept a vial of volcanic dust from the 1980 Mount St. Helen's eruption. Of course the fevered chase to get Titanic memorabelia says to me that there probably a lot of people who would pay for a piece of the rock? Would you?

Somehow there just isn't any "happiness" about this wreck right now.

Of course, as time goes by all things change, and people seem to look at things differently, but right now no one really wants to talk about this wreck.
