Well the winter temps arrive yesterday but it’s the wind that’s relentless.

Thinking I need to send a couple of Christmas cards out although I’m only sending a few this year....just not that into it for some reson.
Almost finished with my Christmas shopping , I only have gift cards left to buy, trying to be done before we head to Disney.

Yep, that chilly weather hit here too. We bundled up and walked this aftern but that might be the last outdoor exercise for a few days.

We were on a Senior trip today to a casino in PA .I made a small donation but my wife won.

No sun today and pretty cold....19 at the moment.
I did pretty much finished my Christmas shopping yesterday so I’m a happy girl.....Disney here we come!

I hope to watch It’s a Wonderful Life tonight if we have no regular shows on....I’m way behind on my Christmas shows, Rudolph , Frosty and so on.

I have a dentist cleaning at 10:00 then I have some housework to get done.

Today is a Pearl Harbor Day, 76 years ago Pearl Harbor was attacked .

I always remember Pearl Harbor Day. We have visited Pearl Harbor and plan to do so again. Visiting the USS Arizona Memorial is very sad but it is part of our history.

On Dec.8,1941 ,three of my cousins (brothers) enlisted into the army .One became a career soldier .He was a second father to me .

I am celebrating my return from Vietnam. It was on Dec. 8th in 1967 that I arrived in Seattle. It sure felt good to be in the US again.

Happy Saturday!

Got a dusting if snow today, a little bit on the grass but it is most visible on hard surfaces.

The DW had some friends over for gingerbread house decorating. We were supposed to attend a fundraiser for our youth riding program but the builders didn't leave in time.

Saw LF has left on his cruise. Guess I misunderstood the issue with their remodeling project. Glad they were able to get away. They have had a tough year.

Hey, we booked a cruise for spring break! The rates weren't that swell until I logged into the Princess site. Then we saw a few cabins drop hundreds of dollars. Pretty crazy. But we are excited.

Sorry we aren't cruising with thang in February

We went shopping this morning and there is currently Christmas wrapping going on. I've talked them into doing most of mine. I'll have to do a bit of it. Ugh. I hate to wrap.

We had a nice Sunday and it sure went by fast. Today we have a few errands to run and it should be a nice day as well.


Bob. it must be a plus to have your work in the basement instead of a commute to work. I used to have a 30 minute drive when the weather was clear.

Cold and cloudy for us today.

I have a somewhat busy week as I prepare for our Florida trip as well as the usual things I have to get done.

TM, yes I would have trouble ever having a commute again. I used to spend an hour on the bus to and from work. Not fun.

Commuting was not fun at all I had a hard time in the winter because it was still dark when I drove to work. I should have not been driving at night at all. I did drive a truck and then a Jeep with auxiliary lights plus fog lamps.
I'm glad those days are over.

Just back from errands and have laundry going. I also just pulled out my clothes for Florida and I’m trying to keep it simple as m not checking a bag, we do have laundry at the condo so if I need to wash something I can.
