Can anyone tell me the deposit amounts per person for these cruiselines? And this is probably a silly question, but do you have to deposit the kids (ours will be 2 and 4 at the time of travel) as well?
Lastly, how easy is it to change sailing dates (and maybe even ships) once a deposit it given?
We are looking to book something for April of 2013 and want to get the trip "on the books" so to speak by depositing but aren't 100% sure when the then-5yo's April vacation will be yet. As such, we may need to move the original booking up or back a week once that info is released...
A seven day cruise requires a $250.00 pp deposit..longer cruises more..You will need to deposit for each person. If you wait till school starts, and get in touch with them, so maybe they can approximate 13's schedule, as compared to 12's, so you can get a better idea of the time frame for vacations.
Changing within a line, is much easier to to, then outiside the line originally booked. Waiting for deposits back is a pia.....do your research, and, we will help in any way we can.

Once in awhile, the cruiselines will run a special, with reduced deposits, but those are rare and eventually, you'll have to make full payment anyway. I would wait and nail down some dates, so you don't have to chance anything, you still have plenty of time.
