Default How to split the costs?

Ok I found someone who I think has already paid for the trip...so how do I pay? Do they tell the company that I am ok to join the room and then the company takes my credit card info?

TIA Garth

You have to be very careful of a situation like this, which is why it's always best to do such transactions with an agent. It's a layer of protection for you to insure everything goes smoothly. I've seen situations where one person booked the cruise, another wants to join and after paying the first person cancels. Creates a real mess.

If they've already booked the cruise and paid for it, they can add your name and then you can call the cruise line and pay for your portion using your credit card.

No matter what you do, make sure that it's the credit card company charging your credit card and not the agent. Again, just another layer of protection for you. And always use a credit card, never cash, check, debit card, etc.

Hope all goes well.
