On HAL, blackjack is normally dealt from an eight deck shoe. They now offer a table of single deck paying 6 to 5 for blackjack. Reducing the payout for blackjack from 3 to 2, down to 6 to 5, is bad enough, but they add insult to injury by two other restrictive rule changes: You can double down only on 10 or 11 instead of any two cards, and you can no longer double down after splitting.
This single deck game on HAL is much worse for the player. Anyone who chooses this game obviously knows nothing about the mathematics of blackjack.
