Easter was great, we have a new baby boy in the family no name yet. Carole's sister Lorraine's oldest son Vince and wife Hanna had the baby on the 23rd. We went to visit them yesterday. 8.3 lbs. and 20.5 inches, no name yet. Last name is Maniago so naming him will be interesting. Enzo, and Erik are on the short list. Hmmmmmmmmmmm, I just heard they named the boy Luke Enzo. I guess it makes sense Hanna likes Luke and Vince likes Enzo. As long as everyone is happy that is all that matters right. Mike

Mike, Awwww! How cool! I don't think I remembered that you had a new baby coming. Tell Lorraine that I said congratulations! Luke Enzo.... I like it It is so hard to pick a name, and some people fail sooooo miserably!
We had dinner with our DS, DIL, and PGB and our DIL's parents. A good time was had by all!
This evening we're going to Galveston to stay the night with friends. Should be a nice evening!

Liz, what did YOU do for Easter?? I didn't do anything at all on Sunday. The girlfriend I was going to hang out with ended up sick, and I just didn't get motivated to do anything else. Saturday was fun, though. Vera Bradley shopping and a late lunch with my youngest son.

Saturday I put up a ceiling fan, sounds easy, but it was a pain. Then Sunday I made Easter dinner for the boys and one sister in law. All in all a nice weekend

Darlene & Linda, I agree it never stops to amaze me when I see a new baby. I did not say anything because Vince & Hanna had a very difficult time with Vivian there first child. Heart surgery etc. No matter what the doctors say until the child arrives and passes all the tests etc. We are all walking on eggs. Vivian still has some issues, but is a sweet and beautiful little girl. Take care, Mike

First off......Woohoo for April birthdays!!!!
And secondly.....you truly ARE my sister! I've put up a ceiling fan as well, and they aren't easy! But what a sense of accomplishment, huh? I don't know many women who would do that themselves. 8)

Wow, Mike, thanks for the rest of the story. Not only do I pray that Vivian just keeps getting better and better, but also that Luke is healthy and able to take care of/protect his big sister.

Haha, actually I have 5 brothers! But I was only raised with my little brother. I don't remember him ever protecting me, you have a point.

Hi everyone! I hope all of the mothers had a wonderful day! My older son sent flowers and my younger son took me to lunch. We also took flowers to my mom's grave and then took the dogs to the dog park, so they could play with their friends. It was a great day (except for the couple of hours I had to work this morning).
What's everyone else doing to pass the time before we see each other again? I know Darlene is packing.....AGAIN!

Lucky me had to work--but it was busy so the time went by real fast.
I was able to enjoy my champagne when I got home -and no I didn't wait until it was 5:00 somewhere-

Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there! I've had a great day. Went to church this morning with DS, DIL and PGB. Afterward we met up with all of Joni's family and had a very nice lunch. After lunch, we came back to Galveston (where the RV was parked). Don and I listened to a band that was playing at the restaurant/bar next door, and then went for dinner at Bennos. It's on the seawall and has WONDERFUL cajun seafood. A very nice day, all in all!
However, I'm ready for a cruuuuuuuise!

Linda, you got me on the Breeze thing. I though it was too soon but you never know. I have a way of missing things. I doubt the Breeze will arrive in states before Fall 1212 after spending a summer in Europe. At this point I am not sure where it will home port Miami? I am guessing. Take care, Mike

Happy day after Mothers Day. Carole had a nice day, I BBQ or (Grilled for the purest) and daughter Lorraine and Carole's sister Lorraine came over for dinner. Lorraine visited oldest son Vince and baby Luke Enzo, I doubt I will ever get uses to the name. Every time I think of Enzo I think of some bright Red and very fast, not small and pink. Kind of laughing about the card my son gave me for Mother's Day--he gave it to me before---or something very similar--
It says that he planned to send me on an exotic cruise for Mother's Days-But he knew that I would miss him too much---because that's the kind of mom I am---- and he would never want to make me suffer like that
darn it--- I think I could suffer through it --with the help of a few friends going with me too--------
laughing instead he gave me money to take the bus to the casino-----and I would only have to suffer one day-----------
No worries I plan on making up for all my past suffering on the Magic and then some

I looked at the deck plan and they don't have the out door eating area on the back. It looks like they moved it to the center of the ship. There is the pool area so hopefully the bar and Bloody Mary area is okay. Mike

Well, Mike, it sounds like we may need to scope out a new place to meet up! It's nice to have a default place like that.
I'm sure looking forward to this ship.....it just sounds like there are so many new things to do and see. Anybody planning on trying the rope course? I KNOW some of you will be doing the water slides!
