Darlene, glad to here you are doing better, Carole and I are still under the weather. All the rain and cold does not help much. The forecast is for rain all next week. TC, I guess I misunderstood something I read. Oh what the heck Happy Birthday anyway. I spoke with Snooze I am not sure if I am booked or not for B5, I am leaving it up to him. Ray did a great job for us on the Pearl and the Glory too for that matter. In fact he has always done a great job. Many thanks Ray, Mike

The weather totally cooperated today and we didn't have any rain or yucky stuff! It was a fun day....tastings at 3 local wineries and I found a little something for all my sisters for the next cruise!

Hope those of you in the pool had fun today! And April, I think you KNOW what your birthday present should be!

Good evening (is 6:20 pm evening) from a quiet Bosque County Texas!

Pool was is just a little too cool for this chickadee! Don took off, to do a little fishing, with the hired hand, and I may never see him again! When Ray said his place was off the beaten path, he spoke the truth! I think there has been a total of 3 vehicles pass on the road, since we got here yesterday around 4:00! I can look down the mountain, into the neighboring field, and see deer feeding. The pool is just outside the kitchen windows, with the water fall going (for ambiance.... yeah!) It has been real windy and low 70s temp. Terry and I Zumbaed this morning, while the guys went to town. You should have seen the MOOOVES! I had more parts going in so many different directions!

Dinner tonight will be ribeyes, steaks, salad, and veggies. Wishin you were all here!

Soooo, how is everyone? My cold is about gone. Mike, I hope you and Carole are feeling better. Linda, did the wine help? TC, how is your neck? Hopefully you are feeling much better by now.

Well, I think Don needs supervision with the margaritas... soooo, later!

Spent the day with the G-babies today, they were little angels! Payton has turned into such a little girl!!! Complete with the screaming fits, and bossing her big brother around ... but in a sweet ... bless your heart way

The neck is still al little sore, but the chiropracter says it will be back to feeling normal soon! Advice is don't carry heavy shoulder purses, and when using a computer, make sure the screen is directly in front of you and not off to the side. And of course try not to stress because that apparently compounds the pain Thanks for asking Darlene, how is your cold? Better by now I hope.

Spring is in full bloom here, the flowering trees are beautiful, the azalias are blooming, the wisteria is everywhere and is so beautiful. The biggest downfall is the pine pollen and the oak pollen ... it makes a mess and plays hell with alergies

Nothing much here.

My major accomplishment today was watching the termite guy inspect the house and drinking a bottle of wine.

Bless Your Heart!

I guess some people just can't come up with anything on their own.

April, did you finish looking at those deck plans? I still like pina coladas better than mojitos, but that one at the Latin American Cafe was pretty darn good!

Wow, I sure wish I could be there with y'all for dinner, Darlene, Don, Terry and Ray! But even more than that, I wish I had a video of the Zumba this morning! Darlene, the wine DID help! I feel pretty good now, I guess drinking plenty of alcohol cures the common cold!

TC, I know you told everybody that you were canceling this Magic cruise and doing the Halloween one on the Conquest instead. Is that still the plan?

Scurvy, I'm confused......were you drinking the bottle of wine, or was the termite guy drinking it?

Haven't cancelled either one yet, still have plenty of time to decide what to do Also waiting to see when/where Bloggers 5 will be. That will probably be the deciding factor.

I have made up my mind to go to San Diego at the end of May though, once I know how much $$$ that costs me, it may influence the decision.

I suggest a bottle of wine! It helps tremendously!

It's ZUMBA time! Then we are off to the big town of Clifton for a late lunch and checking out the art galleries!

Your right, sometimes it's just to darn hard to think for yourself

Darlene, we had a Russian guy come to our door, normally we slam the door in their faces, but he had some nice stuff and we bought two from him. Canvas art, lots of 3-D. Great prices, then a partner of his came by and let us pick out frames and he framed them. They are gorgeous !!

Snooze, sounds like you guys had fun. I wish we would have had tome to come up, but life is just to busy sometimes. Thank heaven for cruises, they force you to slow down some, if only for a while.

Scurvy don't be sad, just be thankful you live in the USA

I have not had the first drink since I left the ship...does that make me old?
NOPE, what makes me old is being best friends with my new washer and dryer

Nope, that makes you SOBER!

Now I feel like a lush, drinking wine from 9 am to 5 pm on Sunday!

I would LOVE to have a new washer and dryer to be best friends with. I just keep coaxing my old set along....it takes several tries to get a load to dry.

Can we get more details on the fishing expedition? How many? What kind? Did you eat them? And why didn't you go with them, Ray?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Scurvy what were the termites drinking ? of hopefully they didnt show up to your party ?

Go ahead Darlene and rub it in-----guess I've got to try doing that Zumba stuff one of these days---before or after having a drink---does that even make a difference.

Ray we want pictures----proof of Dons existance at your ranch---- with real fish too --hahaha

We do have a reprive of rain here-- for a little bit--more storms heading this way---so watch out Linda and Mike------

Having dinner tonight at BJ 's---brewhouse and its at the mall where there
is and Apple store so hopefully I can sign up for an IPad class for super dummies---speaking for myself of course.

Linda I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to make that my research day----
Funny I forgot how many cruise sites links etc etc that I had booked marked----and now I dont have them on this computer---all my travel sites are mostly gone---but then again there are so many more new and improved ones out there for me to look at.

Cheers
April
only drinking my morning coffee right now-----

April

I love my washer and dryer----not to happy with the laudry I have to do---Michael actually went out on Black Friday and bought me a new set--knowing that I wouldnt like it and made me pick out what I really wanted.

Which was had since I didnt know what I wanted --my old set was over 20 years old-----easy decision----white--no fance color for me--- i don't sit in front of them and watch them wash and dry-----

Liz you could post some picture for us on your new art work--pretty please----

Liz, I have not had a drink since leaving the second ship does that count. The only thing wrong with stopping drinking, you start to feel your age. I my case that would be 150. Take care, Mike

Well back to the usual for now. All the flat-landers have left the ranch.

Took Don to town to the feed store, hardware store, meat market, etc. on Monday. He loved the hardware store as they have lots of guns! He knew half the people in town before we left. He did maintenance work on the tractor yesterday morning, that was nice. He did get his hands all greasy though.

We went to the wine tasting room of the local Bosque County vineyard, The Red Caboose , yesterday afternoon--for some reason we never made it to the museum or art galleries.

Good morning Village People

well it was a good morning until I read of Elizabeth Taylor's passing---

The tax man was good to me---well I am the tax man--hahaha and I learned long ago to have extra money taken out so things wont be as bad or as shocking as they could be---also did my moms this year-----saved her a bunch of money doing in and I wont charge her too much---
hummm maybe she can pay in a cruise ???

The rain is back--but no worries----

Ok Ray--- were still missing pictures----guess missing the museum and art galleries will have to be done on the next visit or wing ding thingee

cheers

Ray, I want to know if you had "Hooch-a-Rita's".

I agree, April, sad news about Elizabeth Taylor.
