First time cruiser. Others going on this ship. I'm in Vancouver so the first part is easy at least.

I will be taking the same cruise Sept. 2010. I'm not so lucky with home port convenience, but we are looking forward to seeing Vancouver. What mid priced hotel around $200-$250 a night would you recommend. We are looking to be close enought to the port that a taxi should cost around $10 per person. Did you enjoy the cruise. How was the cruise being the ship was a little older? What excursions in Hawaii did you enjoy?

I will be flying into Vancouver next Sept. What hotel would you recommend in a $200-$250 price range. We will be in Vancouver for 2 nights. We hope to be close to the pier. Hopefully the taxi only has a 10 minute ride from the hotel to the pier. We are looking to be close to the tourist area. How was the ship? I know it is getting a little old for a cruise ship. Did you take any of the excursions from the cruise line and which would you recommend.
