There is a website that uses Facebook profile information. In Facebook search for Airbnb and you can search all over the place for people renting out a bed, couch, porch, room, bed and breakfast. I've not stayed at any of them yet. Just found the site last week and hope to hook up with a great place. There are a number of places in Barcelona with great prices...as well descriptions, pictures, and all about the host. You can contact the person via message and go from there.
