Default Shrimp Lunch in Mazatlan

Any recommendations on a good place to take the family for a shrimp lunch in Mazatlan? Looking for variety in preparation at a reasonable price (have 5 mouths to feed).

Thanks

If you're going to P.V., "Mariscos Polo" fits the bill. It is a modest, clean and well run downtown restaurant owned by a Mexican family. Polo's shrimp burritos as well as pulpo burritos (octopus) are like nothing I've ever had anywhere. He is very careful to get the freshest of seafood daily and the preparation is amazing with liqueurs and then dry fried ubtil brown. They are unbelievable. I'm salivating as I type.

Happy cruisin' (Sorry I have nothing to offer in Mazatlan.

Chuck,

Thanks for the tip P.V. is our first stop and I have placed "Mariscos Polo" on our list of places to visit. The burritos sound great.

El Shrimp Bucket. It's not far from the ship in the oldest part of town right across from the water and near the cliff divers. It's been there forever. I have been there twice. Here is some info.

This is about one of my favorites, Tonys on the Beach. Excellent shrimp and lobster in the capitol of shrimp in Mexico, Mazatlan.

Buen provecho

Garlic shrimp at Victor's on Stone Island. Great atmosphere, right on the beach. We rented ATV's, $20 for an hour and a half. The older kids had fun with those and the little ones played in the water. This was after a great ride with Randi's Happy Horses. A very relaxing day.

Just returned from 7 days on the Pride and hit Mariscos Polo in P.V., the Shrimp Factory in Mazatlan and a small place off the beaten path in Cabo that I'm searching for the name of. The shrimp at all three places was great (any size prepared any way you like it) and the service was always friendly. I always left full, satisfied and with some new friends. If you visit the Shrimp Factory you have to sign a brick.

Thanks to all of you for all of the tips. I love this forum, saved me time and money.

Have fun and over induldge like I did. I'm hitting the gym in the A.M, I have 10lbs to shed.
