Drink Packages on MSC

We are booking a transatlantic cruise with MSC and where wondering what was the best bang for our buck for drink packages. We do like our beer and wine! Also anyone know if it is like costa where you the packages only come in affect at lunch and dinning times.

the best bang would be not to buy any packages.

you can get there so much wine as you can consume
but not the same sort on the same day.

Our last cruise with MSC was a 10 night and I bought the 12 drink coupon book and since my hubby did not really want drinks I ended up giving away 3 coupons. The price was good even though I had to give away.

Where are you cruising, because we cruised the Mediterranean on MSC and found that you have to purchase drinking water. A European thing?
