For those of you how are past fall cruisers to Canada.
Has anyone ever used Tartan Tours for the Louisbourg Fortess Tour?
Also does anyone know if there are tour vans/bus waiting at the pier to take you on tours for those who don't want to book a shore tour that the ship offers?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Aug. 21/28 /04 will be our 3rd Canada new englsnd cruise. We have been on NCL. Cunard and this time HAL>. I remember in particular that in Halifax, there were vans and car reantal afents on the dock. Car rental was very inexpensive. We rented a car one ;year and went to Peggy's voe. it was a lovely drive and beautiful spot to visit.
Hope that helps.
I have not toured the Bell museum but have been to Baddeck. It is a lovely village. I remember a place thatr sold the best hoemmade ice cream I have ever had.I am sure you will enjoy it. However the Fort at Louisbourg is absolutley spectacular. It takes at leasst 1/2 day to tour it. ther is so much to see. It is a total life size re -creation that you walk all around .
