Door between Balconies on Spirit

Can someone please tell me if there are doors between the balconies on the NCL Spirit? We are going with another couple in October and they are next door, however we don't have ajoining rooms. Just wondered if we were going to be able to "combine" our balconies.

no, there are no connecting doors from one balc to the other.

On some ships, the balcony doors on verandahs may be opened between verandahs. You will have to ask your room steward.

On the Pearl, the only connecting balconies were with the adjoining rooms. And even then, I was told the doors could only be opened when the ships were in port, not while the ship was moving (and they could only be unlocked by the steward).
