I just booked a trip on the Jade yesterday. Frequent cruiser but haven't been on Norwegian since I was a kid. What's different that I should know? Boarding time/procedure? Can we bring soda/alcohol at all?
Not sure what to ask, what differences are there?

They can afford that probaly because the casino does not have to answer to a gaming control commission...so they can set their slots to be the tighest in the world. a really tight slot is about a 70% payback...which is horrendous, considering Las Vegas has slots that pay back 99%- 101%...Atlantic City can be as high as 98%....in other words on AVERAGE, the slot will keep 30 cents for every dollar you put into the machine...UGLY payback schedule.
Does anyone play slots and expect to make money? I do remember a couple of years ago in Vegas I played a machine that paid 101%, penny machine I think.
Wonder how much per hour you could win in the long run?
Technically though even at 70% pay back if they give you 200% free you should be at 210% when you've gone through it once.

NCL is not dressy like other lines. Also, they are freestyle dining so you will not have assigned seating for dinner, depending on the time you go, you may have to wait. Other than that, not much else is really different than other main-stream lines. However, the one thing that NCL does best is the suite life!
If that had been me that won 500.00 I would have paid a deposit on another cruise. Glad you won.
I really should have! Instead i paid off my room bill and bought some souvenirs for my boys. However on the way home i was kicking myself i didnt put a deposit down!
