A couple questions about what's included in Princess' rooms...
Do they provide towels that you can take to the pools and off the boat for a day on the beach?
Also, are there irons in the rooms or available to passengers?
They have the beach towels in the rooms and when you are in port they remind you to bring them back with you because the "FRIENDLY" natives will try to convince you that they will bring them back to the ship for you. The irons are provided in the laundry rooms at no charge.
You will also get fresh beach towels every evening, providing you bring the used towels back to your cabin. Almost all the cruiselines will charge you for the missing towels, so keep an eye on them.
Irons in rooms are a strict no-no but Princess does have laundry rooms on every deck with washers/dryers and ironing boards/irons.
I do the hang my dress clothes up as soon as my suitcase arrives routine and when I take a shower before dinner first night, I just hang the stuff in the bathroom and the steam usually works great!
fresh beach towels in your room every day. If you need more, just ask your cabin steward. Leave the used ones in the bathroom. Robes are also included, put in your request on the cruise personalizer. If the robes aren't in your cabin, just ask your cabin steward. You can also get fresh fruit in your cabin every day.
Self-service laundry room with washers/dryers & irons on every passenger deck.
Is there a charge for the robes and fruit? I see they ask if you wish to have a robe but nothing is said about cost? Also, someone said irons in the room are a no no. Does include your own personal travel iron? I usually bring my little one. I have the power adapters if that is the problem.
