I am wondering what the cost might be of having the people on board ship download your pictures from a digital camera onto a CD...vs the price of 1 or 2 additional memory cards...anyone?

Well, memory cards keep getting cheaper - I got my last two 1-gb CF cards for $20 each on sale. SD cards are almost as cheap...

I recently saw the SD cards in the $20-30 range for 1G. It's been awhile since I checked while on a cruise, but it was $20-25 to have your pics put on a CD. It's worth the price for another card. I think I saw those prices at www.newegg.com. I have shopped there before and they have great prices and very quick delivery.
