Booked on the Splendor in October for the Mexican Riveria. Going to book a cruise to Alaska for 2011 as soon as I make up my mind which line I want to use. Leaning toward NCL.

One cruise finished and less than 6 months till the Coral Princess. That, of course, isn't enough cuz I have future cruise book credits so booked the Star Princess for April 3-13, 2011 to the southern Caribbean ... and another cruise credit to book.

Like these count downs and being stacked!

And we're dreaming/thinking about the 23 day repositioning cruise on the Holland America Veendam leaving from New York City through the Caribbean, Panama Canal, & South America...ending in Valparaiso. The longest cruise we've been on is 14 days. Not sure if 23 days will be a bit too long. This cruise sails on 10-10-10.
Say Chuck Palm -- We are also booked on the 6/27/10 Sapphire out of Alaska! This will be my first Princess cruise and I am really looking forward to it!

Booked Crown Princess mini-suite for March 2011 (Western Caribbean). Anyone have any advice concerning Roatan? Is it worth getting off the boat?

I haven't visited Roatan yet but will in November on my Epic cruise. My advice is: "If you never been there before you should get off the ship."

It's not what you did that you will regret it's what you didn't do. (Paraphrase of a Sam Clemens quote)

Take care,
Mike

We're now booked on a third one. Ruby Eastern Caribbean in November. It was to be a long weekend in Vegas, not quite sure how it turned into a week in the caribbean, but I'm not complaining

Can't help with the shore excursions, but it sure sounds like a wonderful cruise. Enjoy.

Well, we were booked, but Princess seems to be cancelling some of the Transatlantics. The November Grand was just cancelled and a couple of others now have no pricing available.

We were on the Star Princess in March - got on in Chile 3 days after the 8.8 earthquake so we missed several of our ports and didn't get around the Horn. We were disappointed and decided we'd try again in the future and include Antarctica on the itinerary -- then we heard about the big ships not going down there anymore after this coming season.

Well, we bit the bullet and decided to book the Star Princess again in December over Christmas and New Years to see Antarctica and the penguins we missed in March.

Cool we're booked

caribbean princess NYC-NYC departing august 21 2010.
just a short trip to visit the NewEnglandCoast.
my wife wanted to go see it.
but we still get a few days in NYC at either end of the cruise.
will have to have my NewYork attitude well rehearsed.
