We stayed there in Jan and also in September. Great hotel for what we paid! They picked us up at the airport...free...then took us the next morn. to the port for free...great breakfast, great...

I heard they're getting paid 250 million for the use of their ships. Doesn't sound like they're doing it out of the goodness of their hearts.

It's very subjective....what one would like another may not. Only you know what you like. But after being on Royal and loving it, I would stick with the newer ships on Carnival. We enjoy both...
