Felix, just to clarify, I meant that as a couple we'd leave a carry-on and one regular bag on board and just bring one suitcase should we have to abandon the boat overnight. In fact if we knew for...

We bought four of these as gifts for granddaughters on HAL last winter and they were probably one of the best gifts we've ever picked up -- ages 3 - 9. But the girls got to do the opening at home --...

Cut and Pasted

Karen, I have cut and pasted your advice to a Word file I'm keeping for each port of call. I know I'd never easily relocate things on these blogs.

I appreciate the advice of the experts 'out...

Which independent tour companies, Karen 16?

Karen, we're in the initial stages of planning what we hope to be for our family of 15 the trip of a lifetime to Alaska in 2010.

Because it's our treat we must choose our tours carefully.

'Retirement' Card

To fellow retirees consider getting a 'retirement' business card made to offer to new friends. Email address is the key for easy 'staying in touch.'

Do Cruise to Canada

I've never cruised to either the Maritimes or Montreal but let me encourage you to consider visiting us. We need more Americans to experience Canada.

I assume one of your ports of call would be...

My husband's planning to bring his...

Thanks Marty for a complete answer, proving one is never too old to learn how to shop.

We're relatively new to cruising, thus the question.

What is DI?

Is there a common chain on various lines?

Are cruise prices generally considered to be honest and good?

Thanks for...
