WHICH HELICOPTER TOUR?

I'd like to do a heli tour and i realized that it can really be pricey.
I'm thinking of the Mendenhall Glacier tour at juneu because it's the cheapest at $199.
Is it really worth the upgrade to Four Glacier Adventure (hole-in-the-wall, taku, norris and dead branch) tour for $299?

is juneau a better place for heli tour than ketchikan?

For clarification- Mendenhall glacier is no better/worse than the other glaciers of the Juneau icefields. You may also want to look into what www.coastalhelicopters.com has to offer, usually the cheapest. YOU need to determine what is your priority? But I suggest- if your funds would prevent other touring if you go with the more costly tour, to consider the single landing and get a varied tour schedule. No glacier helicopter landings out of Ketchikan.

is skagway better than juneau for heli tours?...i'm thinking of the Valley of the Glaciers in skagaway or the Mendenhall

Each glacier landing is unique since the glaciers are in a constant state of change. Go with who fits your schedule best.
